Cub Uniform

Cub Scouts uniform consists of a green sweatshirt and the Tiptree Scout Group yellow and blue necker (scarf).

Cub Scouts must wear their uniform to all meetings unless they are told otherwise by the section leader.

Badges

The badge system works the same way as it does in beavers, and all of the other scout sections. The young person must complete a target or goal and on completion of this target or goal is awarded a badge. There are currently four types of badges:

  • Membership and Joining In Badges

  • Challenge Badges

  • Activity Badges and

  • Partnership or Group Badges

Specific information on badges, and their individual requirements can all be found on ScoutBase.

Badge Locations

The below picture illustrates where the badges are placed on the uniform (click to enlarge).
