Beavers

Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the Scouting Family.

In Tiptree, we have two very active Beaver Colonies: Royal Sovereigns and Little Scarlets. They both meet on a Tuesday night, at slightly different times.

In the winter period, the Beavers usually meet at Headquarters, however during the summer period, the Beavers enjoy all sorts of activities such as: climbing, swimming, assault courses and much more!

The Beavers also enjoy regular fun days at local scouting centres, such as Belchamps - and are renowned for coming back with smiles on their faces, covered in mud!
